Author, artist, mother of many (I had 14 children, 12 of whom are living-six boys, six girls)

I live in an empty nest on an 85 acre family-owned historical farm with my husband of 32 years. Empty nests give me much more room to view and appreciate my surroundings-

I am of Jewish heritage and love the Lord with all my heart. As a Messianic Jew, I fully support Israel and pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as I await Yeshua HaMashiac's soon return.

In 2003, my children's short story, Arcelia, won an online writing contest.

In 2007, my short story, Shavings, placed number one in the yearly Writer's Challenge on Faithwriters.com, and  I was named Best of the Best for 2007-08

In 2008, my short story compilation, Sigh, placed 17th in the annual Writer's Digest Short Story contest.
